Hey there! My name is Maura, and I'm the founder of Bitches & Hose. I started this company because I adore dogs, I take joy in crafting things by hand, and I’m keen on creating playful and colorful products that are also practical for fellow dog lovers. I use decommissioned fire hose as my primary material that is sourced from multiple locations across the U.S. Because fire hose is so durable (and is made with fun bright colors), it can have a second life. It is a difficult fabric to work with but I love the challenge because it makes me think more about upcycling- hopefully I can pass that on to my customers!
B&H is located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, where the ever-awe-inspiring landscape and dog-friendly eateries + parks, always fire me up for an adventure with our two crazy dogs.
